The Brazilian coffee from the São Silvestre plantation in the blend is a participant of the 2017 Cup of Excellence, in the evaluation of which the grandmaster of our roastery Mārtiņš Drungils also participated.
The nurseries that make up this blend of Castillo, Caturra and Colombia coffees are located between 1700 and 1800 m above sea level. The peel of the cherries is peeled and the coffee beans are fermented for 17-20 hours, then they are washed and dried for 18-20 days both on parabolic dryers and on elevated "African beds" or sieves. The taste profiles were evaluated by three Q Graders - Luiz, José Antânio and Edgard. The selected taste profiles ensure not only quality, but also consistency throughout the year.
